Plant Culture Nursery is situated in the scenic Boland wine land area of Stellenbosch / Somerset West. Located on two farms off the R310 and Vlaeberg roads we are ideally positioned as a convient supplier to the Cape Town surrounds. (see map in Contact Details)
Our nursery offers a varied selection of both indigenous and exotic trees and shrubs.
Established as a closed corporation in 1998, we are a relatively small business, specializing inspecific lines. Our main line is mature trees, offering a selection of over 10 000, 60L and 125L speciemens. We additionally offer landscaping shrubs from 4L to 60L. We sell to both the general public and commercial green industry. As many retail nurseries fall short in stocking larger varieties of plants we offer a valuable and nessesary product to those looking for this. In addition to supply we offer a planting service too where we'll send an experienced crew to do all the digging and planting.
The business was started by Scott Hogg as a landscaping company in 1998, offering design and installation packages. This was expanded upon with the start-up of the nursery in 2002, working hand in hand in its ability to grow specific and specialized planting material for the various landscaping projects. With the growth of the business and the new 2010 plan, we are now able to offer a prodution capacity the provides a large number of landscaping companies within the Cape Town and immediate areas.
